History of the Territory

Cavallino Treporti has been a holiday destination since the 1950s, the capital of open-air tourism and the second largest beach in Italy, known throughout Europe.

It is a peninsula that separates the sea from the lagoon and our beach runs uninterruptedly for 15 km from the Cavallino lighthouse to the Punta Sabbioni lighthouse.
Imagine seeing a large regular surface covered with fine golden sand that slopes gently towards the sea and extends deep down to the dunes and pine forest.
This is the esplanade of Cavallino Treporti: a large, safe and protected space where children can play in peace.
